Twisted Swing Big Band

Our mission is to not only provide some much needed “chop time” for the band members, but more importantly, to inspire younger generations of jazz musicians and support local music programs. We are an extension of a summer jazz program offered at Reeds Brook Middle School that is geared toward beginning/intermediate players. The summer jazz program is an open door rehearsal group that meets during the summer break. In contrast, the Twisted Swing Big Band is an invitational group for more advanced musicians performing a wide variety of incredible jazz music.
